Thanks to Twitter, NFA connected with—and was happy to have—comedian, G4TV host and PodCRASH Show's Chris Gore on our latest podcast with host and featured CFB writer Matt "Bax" Baxendell, along with NFA founder and senior writer Daniel Wolf.

Bax and Gore talked about football movies and the Detroit Lions, and all three guys talked about Super Bowl XLVI while making their picks and reminiscing about past Super Bowl commercials.

College football writer Matt Baxendell (a.k.a. Bax) hosts this week's edition of NFA Radio.

Joining Bax to discuss National Football League happenings are, NFA's NFL Editor-in-Chief Bear Heiser, and featured NFL writers Robert Neely and Russell S. Baxter.

With the lockout far in the rearview, the guys take a look at which teams made the biggest moves during the free agency period. Did the St. Louis Rams improve their chances to take the division this year? Are the Philadelphia Eagles primed and ready for a Super Bowl run? And Robert checks in from Carolina Panthers training camp to discuss the Panthers busy offseason.

As for college ball, the focus is on National Football Authority's college football previews. College football Editor-in-Chief Nate Kuester talks with Bax about who the top stars and bottom feeders are in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

The guys examine Notre Dame football under second year head coach Brian Kelly. Do the Fighting Irish take a step forward or a step back this season.

Mr. Kuester also weighs in on the odds of Boise State head coach Chris Peterson leaving the school after the season for another job.

Last but not least is the topic of conference re-alignment and the possibility of "super-conferences."
